Brijet Myers- Registered Yoga Instructor
I have been practicing yoga for 10 years. Yoga is always the one thing I can depend on for strength in
my body and mind, quiet in my heart and peace in my soul. I love all avenues of yoga but
practiceAstanga and 'Power Yoga' most often. I earned my 200 hour level yoga teacher certification
through At One Yoga of Scottsdale in May 2008. My goal as a yoga teacher is to bring this incredible
gift to people who have never tried it, are unsure of what yoga is all about and people who think they
can't do it.... because everyone can do and enjoy yoga!
I live in the Embody Yoga neighborhood with my husband, 6 year old daughter and two dogs. We all
do yoga together as a commitment to being a bonded, peaceful, loving family unit.
Kevin Afuso-Registered Yoga Instructor
Kevin began practicing yoga at about the age of 10 when he stumbled upon an early morning PBS
yoga program one summer. He would sneak out of bed into the family living room, quietly turn on the
TV and practice yoga and meditation with his first teacher while the rest of the house slept. At the age
of 25 he moved to San Francisco where the abundance and variety of yoga studios re-energized his
practice. He dappled in Bikram, Iyengar, Anusara, Kundalini, Sivananda yoga, and Intregal yoga. In
2003, a dear friend turned him on to Vipassana meditation, as taught by S.M. Goenka. As a result of
this intense spiritual practice, which teaches presence and purification of the mind at the deepest level,
he also became serious about his yoga. He came to Sedona in 2005 to earn his 200 hour yoga
teaching certification by a school whose lineage stems from the Sivananda/Satyananda/Bihar School of
Yoga. He’s been teaching ever since (supplementing his income while in Sedona as an ayurvedic chef)
while at the same time continuing his yoga education by working on his 500 hour certification at The
International Yoga College with a specialization in Ayurveda.
Julie Dreyer- Registered Yoga Instructor
Julie Dreyer, has been practicing yoga since 2001 and recently completed 500 hr teacher training at
Inner Vision Yoga, where she realized her path as a Bhakti yogi. Thanks to all the teachers in her
life, her practice continues to evolve. Julie's first introduction to dance was through her cheerleading
coach. She was one of the first to combine dance and acrobatics into cheer routines, which the team
performed throughout several Midwestern states. Julie continues to learn different dance forms
including hiphop, break dance, salsa, swing, Brazilian and African. Previously dancing for competition,
she now dances to uplift her soul and encourage the same in others.  Julie has dedicated her life to
spread peace on the planet – connecting community through dance movement and leading yoga-hikes.
Her love for all people, music and nature inspire her life. In her spare time, she
enjoys practicing sustainability at home.
Nan Aton- Registered Yoga Instructor
Nan has been practicing yoga for over eight years and has recently completed teacher training at the
Southwest Institute of Healing Arts under the guidance of Mary Bruce, a certified Anusara instructor
and senior student of Yogiraj Rod Stryker.  Nan is constantly amazed at the extra “space” that yoga
creates in her, both mentally and physically, making her feel calmer, stronger, even taller, almost every
time she leaves the mat.  With a background in social work and nursing, Nan looks forward to
nurturing and challenging her student to find that space within themselves.  When she’s not on the mat,
Nan enjoys spending time with her husband, three children and her dog, Duke.
